Strictly Come Dancing – You’ve been framed!

Ainsley in frameTopLine Dance Frame made an appearance on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing at the weekend when celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott addressed his posture problems for the waltz in week four of the series.
He was told by dance professional Natalie Lowe that she had “perfect device for the perfect topline” during their training sessions.
There was lots of video footage of Ashley using the frame to comic effect – Natalie had told him to wear it “24 hours a day” (not advisable folks) – which led to him trying to get through the day’s trials, from tying a shoelace to getting through doors, while wearing the frame!
It clearly did him some good – despite a little misplacement (instructions provided with every frame) as the chef, who is this year’s oldest competitor at 58, did exceedingly well.
Presenter Claudia Winkleman also had the frame in the studio during the performance links although put in around her neck the wrong way! Still good for carrying shopping bags!
Use of the frame caught the imagination of the British press and the episode was reported in the Mirror
The Daily Telegraph highlighted how Ainsley went from strength-to-strength – scoring more than front runner Jay McGuiness – scoring 26 points dancing to Louis Armstrong’s ‘It’s a Wonderful World’. ‘Ainsley Outscores Jay – Who’d Have Predicted That?’ blazed the headline
